I'd be finding a babysitter, and going out anyways. I would kill my DH if he ever pulled some shit like that.

I'd call my mom or MIL and ask them to babysit.

I'd be f**king livid!! If my boyfriend did that he'd never hear the end of it. Especially since I actually CAN'T go anywhere right now. So after baby comes (obviously not right away) if I wanna go somewhere I feel I'd be entitled to go for a glass of wine or a beer. Even just dinner with friends.

Next time I wouldn't say anything until you're leaving since that seems to be the game he plays.

f**k that. Next time, don't tell him where you're going. Just hand him the baby and tell him you'll be back in a few hours. I'd be DAMNED if I didn't get to go out to have my own fun because SO threw a fit. f**k that. I'd be pissed too if I were you, dear.

Can you find a sitter? If so, go out.

What an a*****e.

Your DH better watch it.

Little actions like that kind of selfishness are building blocks for the ruining of a relationship.

Seriously.

My husband would never do that. He does the opposite. He always wants more for me and vice versa. That's what makes for a happy life.

I'm sorry mamma. You have every right to be upset/hurt.

I would turn it on him like this-

(Not sarcastically done)

"I'm sorry I wanted to go out. You obviously needed a time out too, or else you wouldn't have hurt my feelings like that. I know you want me to be happy too, and when I get to go out, I'll be really grateful you're as giving to our relationship as I am."

Is this behaviour out of character or does he normally not allow you to go out without LO?
