Yeh we have three xbox's in our home and all of them have been on their flat side most the time lol wonder why the sales guy told you that, I've never heard of it and hubs use to work at gamestop. if you wanted to be extra careful you could just raise it up a bit so it's not as close to the bottom so it could ventilate better but we've never had a problem. Actually, they work better for us this way, one of our doors kept refusing to open standing upright until we laid it down, now it opens fine lol

I can't spray him while he's on the TV stand. And he runs and jumps onto the stand... not like I can catch him all the time.

I have a great idea. You should wrap duct tape around each paw.
It would keep the cat from climbing, plus it would be hilarious

Quoting kthx.:" How the HELL do I keep my cat from turning psycho, running through the house, and then on top of our ... [snip!] ... the hulk. Is this just a lost cause? I love my cat, but these f**king hyper spurts are going to cost us $2,000 in electronics."

Time to get rid of the cat, it seems.

LMFAO. I'm tempted to... just to see how funny he walks  When he had those Kitty Caps on his claws (he tore them off, waste of money)... he would walk and like shake his paws every few steps
