That's the most upsetting story I've ever heard. My son is 14 months old and when I bought his cot it wasn't drop down but I remember thinking gosh is hard to lean in and pick him out why didn't I buy drop down, but I was happy with his cot and didn't know any dangers in drop down cots till I read ashlea-Mae story. I wouldn't ever think about using a drop down again if you look at them how easy it is for a baby to get stuck in there, its not parents fault it's a horrible accident but its an accident that now can be stopped by not buying these cots. Get my name down on that I back anything up if it stops dangerous things been sold for babies
