Would you give your baby honey nut cheerios? I know it's not pure/raw honey so it's not as likely to cause infant botulism but they still say there could be a slight risk. Would you give your baby (under a year old) the cereal or would you not risk it?

The boys are 18 months and I still won't give them HNC, because of the nuts.

I wouldn't. I know they seem bland, but Chloe LOVES the multigrain Cheerios.

No, I did once & then after it thought of the Honey thing. Someone told me that no matter if it is cooked or not the botulism in honey can still survive. So I just don't mess with it lol.

I LOVE those too! They have a hint of sweetness which makes it really good to me lol.

And alright. I'm an admin on a FB page and two of the other admins (who both have babies under a year) give them honey nut cheerios. I told them they should be cautious about it and gave them a link to some information on it and they just ignored it basically and said, "they'll be fine"

I give my 11 month old regular Cheerios, he loves them! I would stick to the other varieties as opposed to HNC. :)
