Oh wow, congratulations! Are they going to put you to sleep, are will you be awake during surgery?

First, congratulations!!! Second, you are not alone, all my friends that had c-sections had an anxiety attack and get knocked out. It's way more common than you think. So, try to keep calm and ask them to keep an oxygen mask on you the entire time. I did with my second c-section and I was calm the entire time! It was my first c-section while being awake and hearing all these horror stories, I was convinced I was gonna freak out on the table. I didn't. My second c-section was an awesome experience.

Good luck!

I know the feeling! I had a C-section with my DS and I was in labor for 36 hours and only dilated to 4 and after 8 hours of having my water broke they told me I was just gonna have to have a c-section and I freaked out! They took me down to the surgery room and I keep jerking and they kept asking me why I was jerking?! I was like "Well" I'm laying here numb my husbands not in here and I'm getting ready to be cut open!....Wanna trade me places!? I know how you feel.....Good luck tomorrow!

I had mine Dec 20th and I starting panicking when the spinal block started to work.. I was crying and trying to stay calm but I couldn't breathe. Then they gave me an oxygen mask and it really helped to calm me down :) just try to only think about your beautiful baby boy who will be making his grand entrance and you will be okay:) good luck!!
