Yeah being vegeterian doesn't always equal a healthy diet! I don't think I have to be concerned about DS though because everything is "chicken". Beef is yummy chicken, fish is yummy chicken, pork is yummy chicken.... He believes absolutely everything is yummy chicken lol

Considering I flip flopped between vegetarian, vegan, and and diets that include meat my entire life on and off...I don't see anything wrong with it. If any of my kids decided meat wasn't for them, I'm pretty sure even as a whole family we could deal with it. We eat a lot of meatless meals and enjoy vegetarian and vegan treats on a regular basis.

Also I don't know why people are like all worried about protein, everything we eat has protein. A lot of vegetables are even high in protein. (Asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, and even corn!). As long as they eat a balanced healthy diet , it shouldn't be a problem. I've never heard of anyone dying without meat in their diet (unless they were severely malnourished in some other way) . Ironically you can die from eating diet high in certain kinds of meat (not some vegetarian/vegan bs. It's a fact. Red meat is like one of the huge reasons for heart disease) .

Sure. I'd be bummed as i love to cook and eat lots of delicious meat. I'd hope that it was just a phase.
I would pay more attention to having complimentary proteins as sides as my husband would NOT do well with vegetarian dinners more than once in a blue moon.

my daughter doesn't eat chicken if she knows it's chicken. She gets upset over the dead chickens and starts crying.

I just avoid telling her it's chicken lol

'salright momma - he just happens to be from Michigan and is well known here for that as much as his guitar. He has hunting episodes sometimes even on Michigan Outdoors & I have never seen anyone so enthusiastic in my life about hunting or cooking wild game. LOL It's quite entertaining.

Idk. I think she's been vegetarian most of her life and she's prolly about 30 now. I haven't known her long, we became friends through a mutual friend. She asked what was in skmething one time and I was thrown off and thats when she told me meat physically makes her Ill now. I guess shes tried but no such luck. Cause I think she wanted to start eating turkey and chicken or something but she couldn't handle it.
