Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Tarynosaurus Rex:</b>" My grandma's name is Margarate Gertrude ... [snip!] ... all the way back to like 1605 is German for him and 1530 or something on my mom's paternal side LOL. We are buku German LOL."

My mom is 50% German, then her dad is like 50% Native American, but my dad is 100% Irish. We've got it all basically lol. My last name is hella Irish. (Kelliher). My grandma's mom is Marianna which I think is beautiful.

We don't know my dad's side or my husband's mother's side but I think on my dad's side we have Cherokee and Blackfoot

I like it, but not for a name for a warrior. Its more flowery to me.

I live in a place where I'm surrounded by Arapahoes and Shoshones. I worked in a hospital and we have a such thing called IHS that pays for medical expenses for Native Americans if they have at least 1/16 of Native American blood in them. I learned to ask every single person because if I didn't I would get my ass reamed. There were several times when a very pale, redheaded person would answer they were eligible for IHS. We believed them and sent it to the tribes to be paid. And they were paid!

Moral of the story: I believe practically anybody when they tell me they have Native American in them. I don't doubt them. Because I've seen it happen first hand
