I am 28 weeks pregnant, and i have a 5 year old daughter and a Just turned 3 year old son.
My daughter, has been through this before, im not to worried about her.
My son on the other hand, is a very clingy child. He was very sick most of his life, so he never left my side, where my daughter was always at grandparents house or whatever. My son, doesnt even want much to do with his own dad (my husband) Hes just very attatched to his mama. Im very worried about this new baby causing problems for him.. But hes very involved in my pregnancy right now which i think will help, always talking about "baby jelly bean" and always giving baby jelly a kiss and a hug and snuggling with my belly.

So for any of you that had clingy children whats the best way to approach the baby being born? and how did they react?

My 3 year old wanted me to take my younger daughter back! i had to explain i was her mommy too. i just balanced my time with her and showed her she was still important. every time LO took a nap i would play with her and just show her i care.

Yeah she was pretty mad, but once she realized i still had time for her she was fine and now she is absolutely in love with her sister. I have a picture on my profile of the girls and they are so cute together. my 3 year old also loves helping me with getting a bottle and diaper changes.
