I babysit a boy who is almost 4. He is no where near potty trained. He won't tell me when he has to go so I can put him on the potty, etc ...I physically do put him on the potty every 1/2 hour or so but he won't go....ANYWAY, I GAG to the point that I'm running to the bathroom when he poops in his diaper. I can't change him....it's like changing a grown child not a baby. My husband has to leave the house because it smells so bad in here.
And,.... TMI....it's like A LOT. I am starting to get nervous when he comes here that he's going to go in his diaper! I don't know what to do.... Am I sh*t outta luck or do you have advice? Thanks!

Stop babysitting him if it bothers you so much. Have you talked to the parents at all?

I would talk to the parents. Do they work on potty training at home? Does the child have any problems mentally or otherwise? At 4, a child should be able to understand their body and their bowel needs, heck even my almost 2 year old knows when he has to poop! So I would talk to the parents first and figure out what is going on and if all else fails let them know you can no longer watch their son because of the diaper issue with your pregnancy.

Its not that simple. His mom say she has no one else to watch him .He's a good kid just ... this. I've told her and she laughs it off. :(

Why can't you stop baby sitting. Give the mum 2 weeks notice. You don't owe her anything

She can hire someone else. It is that easy. I understand you would feel guilty but you need to be happy watching someone. If the moms laughing about it she obviously isn't planning on changing it anytime soon.

I had no one else and my daycare lady closed. Nothing I could do about it and I wasn't angry. I managed. I put her in preschool

If she is laughing it off she probably feels that it is your responsibility to potty train him and I would give her two weeks notice for her to find someone else.
