Well it also didn't help that my friend passed away last Monday as well and her funeral was yesterday and I couldn't go :( so I'm just a little over sensitive.

Dammit that made me cry :(
It'll all be worth it in the end! She's going to be a great big sister.

Thanks everyone for the replies about DD's first birthday. I really like the savings account idea. We ended up getting her an outfit and a Carebare doll and a few other small things. She really doesn't need anything, except a toy box now for her toys that she got from Christmas, which my dad got for her already :D She really needs her own room, lol... she currently takes up half our room and the living room . Ugh, we need a bigger house. Living in a 2 br house with 3 kids is rough. But the rent is unbeatable so it'll be hard to leave.

I have three book cases full of books. My books. That doesn't count the few that DH has or the ones for DD. I told DH a long time ago that we would probably end up with a small library. :)

Yeah we probably will too. I don't read. All my books are textbooks haha.

I do want to get a bookshelf in my room. We have all our textbooks in a trunk and it's just taking up unecessary space. And I want a big book shelf for DDs room to get those books off the floor.

So last night was a nightmare trying to get dd to do her homework. I was ready to pump her with adderall because she was bein so ADHD. I've had concerns about this in the last year but wanted to see how it affected her in school. She seriously could not focus last night. She was fidgeting and jumping around and being "weird" couldn't focus or answer any questions or use her brain to come up with answers I know she knows. So she has a pedi appt Friday so I told Sam to ask her teacher if she has concerns at school. Lylian never says she gets in trouble really but she also never gets merits(her schools reward system for good behavior) so I thought maybe she's unfocused on off task but not like "bad" enough to justify calling us or punishing her. Maybe just warnings. Well her teacher said "she is one inthe most focused and well behaved students in the class. She's chatty but that's about it". WTF?!?!

Maybe it's because she's not in a familiar place and there is so much going on at the hospital she can't stay focused.

DD walked for the babysitter a full month before she walked for DH and me! I would pick her up from the sitter, and her siblings are talking about DD walking across the living room, and I'm like, no way. Then my in-laws start talking about her walking, too. She was walking for my in-laws for about two weeks before we saw. Little stinker just up and walked across the room for us one day.

I finally figured out she would practice new things with the sitter, then my in-laws, before she showed us. Sigh...
