Curls are hard especially when u don't Hve Expereince with them. It's taken me my whole life to figure it out. What I recommended is softer, cause I wouldn't want a child to have crunchy hair. I use mousse and curls sprays but that's just too much for a child IMO. The ones I told you are smooth and soft. I use te milk spray on dd and she has straight hair. We use it like a detangler.
