I'm looking for some new ideas on things to cook for supper, I would really like something with fish or shrimp,and then a few other ideas.
I like simple recipes, I am a okay cook but I don't follow complex recipes well or have a kitchen full of appliances and things :P I really like semi-homemade stuff, I'm not much of a "from scratch person." (I know I should because it's healthier, I need to work on my skills though lol)
Thaw and take tails off of shrimp. I get pre cooked so it is really easy. Pan fry them with some zucchini and yellow squash in olive oil or butter. Season with Natures Seasoning.
Seriously best seasoning ever.
Serve over brown rice, or whole grain noodles.
I'm not a seafood fan at all.
I use chicken but you could sub for shrimp.
On lazy nights I like to get Philadelphia Cooking Creams, with some pasta and veggies in a skillet.
3 or 4 chicken breasts defrosted and put in the crock pot. Sprinkle BBQ rub on them and let them cook for a few hours until done. Shred them and add BBQ sauce.
Can be put on buns, in tortilla shells with cheese and salsa (like a quesadilla), or eaten plain.
parmesan crusted porkchops
preheat oven to 350
four 3/4inch chops
in one dish mix up 3/4c parmesan (fresh grated, the grated kind in the shaker, or the powdered shaker.. it all tastes the same.)
3/4c bread crumbs (i like panko)
in another dish whisk up 1 egg (you might need two but i usually only need one)
one at a time dip the chops into the egg then into the dry mix
brown for one minute on each side then put on a baking sheet
bake for 35 minutes
sounds harder than it is.
