i just need to run my mouth about my other half for a bit, he is doing my head right in he toke a week off work to " help me out " the only thing he has helped me out with is stressing me right out my due date for our 2nd son is 2moz and i have been in pain since 32 weeks due to myself having another baby so fast after my first and i have a problem with my pelvic bone and all my other half does is lay down and shout orders " i want a drink " " i want some food " and having our 1 year old son crawling about all i wanted is for him to play with him on the floor so that i can have a lay down or relax for a bit seems iam due 2moz but no, and on weekends when he got no work i ask him to do something he says " no, i have been in work all week and i only get to rest on my days off so u do it, it aint hard being a mum all you do is feed, change and play with him whats hard about that" now yeah maybe some women can deal with everything but all i want is for him to help out abit by playing with his son or even just taking him out for an hour or two he never spends time with him and its doing my head in, i know he needs to work but i havent had our 2nd baby yet and he is still going back to work on monday one day after my due date and he works miles away from where we live, i just need him to understand that it is stressful and i need help now and again :(

Why did he take off now and not wait till after baby was born? Are you even having the baby tomorrow or is that just your due date? I'm sorry you're going through this, those last few weeks are hard especially taking care of another baby. I had to take care of 2 other children at all times because my husband didn't take off till after she was born but if he had he would have helped. I would be so ticked off if he took off and then didn't help. I would start by not waiting on him for sure, he took off to help you not the other way around. Not sure what else you can do to get him to help really just try and rest when you can.

Sounds like he needs a swift kick in the ass to me :? Tell him to get his lazy butt up and help, or to go back to work. You already have a one year old to deal with, you dont need a bigger baby to take care of on top of it. My DH told me what I do is easy once, and that all I do is take care of the baby all day, blah blah blah... So I made him stay home with the baby all day with a specific list of things that needed to be done, and I went to work with a friend of mine... Of course by the time I got home half of it hadnt been done, and my toddler was pretty much running circles around him. He hasnt said anything about it being easy ever since  It seems kinda silly to take off work before the baby. Your going to need the most help afterwards. My DH is off for 4 days after I have the baby. His work is really good about it though, and the two other people who work his position know they will be on call when it gets close to time. Sorry your going through a hard time right now, but keep in mind your newest LO could be arriving any minute. Keep your head up! Good luck!
