I love the name, Meredith sounds the best with it. Are their any other nicknames you like for it?

No, only Birdie, I primarily picked it for its nick name. I love Birdie but do not like Bernice or Berenice and really loved Birdena. Dee or Dena I think is ugly.

I like the whole name, not a fan of birdie. Kids are cruel. Birdena is pretty thought and never seen or heard..(until you pick it)

I could give 2 Fu*ks about kids and whether theyre cruel or not. Has absolutely no weight on my name choices. Kids will find anything to tease about. I could pick the most unteasable name possible and my kid would be born with a unibrow or 11 fingers and kids would tease about that. I like the name so thats all that matters. My children will be brought up to know that harsh words only hurt if you let them. and honestly IMO its kind of silly to base a name choice off of a "chance" of some child in the far future possible poking fun at it a couple times...big whoop. ya know?

Well I am big on nicknames like Alex, i would hate him to be called Al. Your child your choice. I like the name itself. No argument.
