So little man has an ear infection, pretty bad, it's oozing out of his ear. He never showed any signs(not even fussiness) and just had a cold. Only this morning with his 7 am feed I saw it was leaking out ;(

Anyways, I went to the pedi straight away cause he is only 3 months and thats too tiny to fight such a bad earinfection. He probably has a weakened immune system sicne he had his shots last week too (after his shots is also when he got his cold).

Pedi gave antibiotics and nosedrops, but my question is, if I put breastmilk in his ear will he get better faster?

Ear infection. It's two words.

Try the breastmilk.

Sorry, my English got Germanized after living here for 5 years...
I'm not sure about the breastmilk cause it's also antibacterial and he's already on antibiotics. Don't want to kill more than necessary.

!!

also.. I strongly suggest taking him to a chiropracter.

My oldest son had so many they talkeda bout tubes. Never had another one after I started taking him to a chiropracter. Worked wonders relieving pressure in his inner ear.

There is a doc called osteopath here, which is kind of a mix of chiropractor and just general body alignment. I'm going to get a post partum checkup so I might as well bring LO with me.

Thanks for the replies, I'll try the breastmilk anyways, I've got an oversupply anyways lol.
