Quoting Spoonful of Jayson:" I was thinking bells palsy, but couldn't remember the name."

My friend in hs randomly got it. They ended up doing electrode stimulation therapy to correct it.

We had a case in my class last semester where the presented symptoms were similar and it was bells palsy. I forget the treatments that we went over though.

Does he have any confusion, trouble speaking/forming sentences, or walking?

Nope. None of that, just facial paralysis.

I'd have never let him drive to work if he had any of that!

I would have pushed him for ER, but DS and I both have the plague and Bells Palsy was my first thought, but the more I think, the more stroke is popping up. His mom has had symptomless strokes before. They only knew she had them because she was having a head MRI for her thyroid---apparently she has had several

A similar thing happened to mom's acquiantance. His has gone away by itself in about a week. It was like part of his face became paralyzed for a while.

I'm thinking its PROBABLY that, but panicky at the off chance it's NOT, especially with his mom's history!
