Here's a potentially unanswerable question lol.
Are there any cameras that exist in the huge chain stores that have quality similar to a professional camera AND less then 50 dollars??

I am thinking about doing some pics on the side. Nothing serious but maybe a new hobby and I dont want it to look like Polaroids (the bad kind) or cellphone pics lol

That was an easy question, no. But you don't need an expensive professional camera to take good photos. I know quite a few people that have under $100 cameras and they take amazing photos.

I take photos that people assume are professional on my iphone. It's not always what you're using but how you use it. If you want a digital SLR that will take good enough photos to sell, you'd need to pay more than $50, sorry :(

Maybe try ebay? Photographers sell things all the time when they upgrade. Not for $50, but if you saved for a while and then went looking you may find something :)

This made me laugh! I don't think you'll find a descent cam at that price at all, let alone professional looking pictures. You might wanna try used ones? eBay or evern a pawn shop?

For 50 dollars haha hell no maybe a kiddie one but youll get what you pay for. Save up more money and get a better decent one for like 200 maybe less but 50 no way.

I got a sony cybershot h55 camera on ebay for like $60 used that takes pretty good pics. They're not professional quality but decent for a point and shoot.
