I'm 25 weeks pregnant and have been noticing that my calves are achy when I walk. They kind of seem tight I don't remember this with my last pregnancy. I have a very dry mouth at night almost as if I can't swallow and so I have to get up and drink a ton of water and it still doesn't seem to take it away. I do through out the day drink plenty of water as I'm trying to help flush any water retention out. I do have a cup of coffee in the morning just one not sure if this would kind of be a factor in it. I do drink over and above the recommended amount of water to flush it out of my system.
I have my prenatal today and I'm going to talk to him but does this sound like it might be early symptoms of pre e???
Just want to know what you ladies might think.

You could also be low on potassium, it effects the calves bad during pregnancy. Eat more bananas!

It's worth trying, there are a lot of. Other symptoms that come before the legs with preeclampsia but you never know! It's definitely worth talking to your doctor about. I'd say looooots of water and more bananas while you wait...

Yes my legs pains as well as my numbness in my legs and arms and hands are due to water retention. Not sure what is going to happen later on. There doesn't seem to be nothing that I can do to control it. I now have a wrist sling that I need to where because of the carpel tunnel :(. I asked him if there is anything to control water retention and he said no. So I don't know I I start getting more symptoms of pre e what will happen.
