Have you heard of it, or had one? I am mostly wondering if they offer it in Canada.

I've never heard of this, but it was really cool.

BTW, I'm due April 27th. :p

I am due on the 28th, but having a c-section on the 22nd.

what's the difference in this an a "normal" c-section? just how slow it goes? mine was an emergency, so it was fast and I was knocked out, but my sister had 2 c-sections (after her first was an emergency c-section as well) where she was completely awake. I'm scared that the term "gentle c-section" is going to encourage women to request c-sections, which is just something that isn't smart. if the c-section is already scheduled for medical reasons and this is a better option, that's different.

I'm feeling like I might have to have one as well... hoping that's not the case, but I wont be devastated if it ends up being that way.

Why did they tell you that you couldn't do it normally?
