Is your little guy sick? Anthony would tug like that when he had ear infections.

He doesn't seem sick, he has a touch of thrush but nothing like what it was. I'm treating him and it wasn't bothering him when it was really bad so I can't see that being the cause. I think he's having a growth spurt or something though, would explain the fussiness and feeding more often, and waking up hungry at 3am when he hasn't for ages.

DS & I are right there with you. Except SO doesn't smoke. We're both getting over thrush & he's been up & fussy early too. I hope it passes soon for all of us!

That could be it too. Have you increased your liquid intake to try and keep up? Nothing is worse than feeling like you are alone in the battle. My husband was like that with our twins. I wanted to kill him . Hell, I was close to divorcing him. I was so sick of it. I finally told him that if he didn't start helping me, our relationship (including romantic) was going to suffer and it would be very hard to get "us" back.

Agreed. Our DS' have birthdays pretty close don't they? Lucas is Oct 27th.
It drives me nuts when he's nice as pie for his dad then starts screaming as soon as he goes outside. Makes me look insane as well lol he comes back inside and I'm all wild eyed and miserable but Lucas is happy as because Dad is back :?

We've gotten to that point as well. I've had enough. We've had a few serious fights where I've almost walked out since DS was born but we've been working on things. I honestly can't imagine doing this with two of them. You're literally my hero.
I've been drinking lots of tea and water, a bit too much coffee, and have been eating like a horse. I've been starving for the past two days, I don't know why lol.

DS's birthday is November 19th so they are 2-3 weeks apart I think lol I get beyond pissed at SO sometimes because when Zeke is with him he looks so much happier than when he's with me. He only cries with SO if he's hungry :? He won't even cry when wet! He keeps playing with him. He's been so fussy with me lately I've had to lay him down so I could scream in a pillow because it tears my nerves up :(

Im sorry he's being a douche :( Tell him if he's serious about quitting or cutting back then he needs to start now. When you next see him, give him Lucas and go lock yourself in the bathroom and take a nice long bubble bath. Then at least you get a little bit of a break.

The only thing that helped me and K was him going back to work lol, he leaves at 8am and doesnt get home till 9pm, I love it. But it is super exhausting taking care of a baby on your own, which is sounds like you're basically doing too. And if all else fails, you still have that soldering iron dont you? :D

It drives me insane, just makes me feel like a dairy cow or something!! He woke up twice last night as well, I'm SO gutted because I was hoping the whole sleeping though the night thing would last. Hopefully once this growth spurt is over he'll go back to normal :( I don't function well on no sleep and SO doesn't seem to think he's doing anything wrong. Makes me wanna slap him.

No soldering iron but I'm sureh we have a machete lying around...
Honestly, I wish he was working sometimes. I love having him around and he likes being home with us but it's like he spends too much time playing xbox and getting stoned, and he looks for any excuse to do it. He looked after Lucas this morning because I was f**king EXHAUSTED last night and we had another argument. I almost slept in the spare room but I couldn't because I wouldn't have heard Lucas when he woke up :? Lucas has been asleep on him since I got up so I'm getting a little bit of a break and the sleepin made me feel better. Just stressful :(

All SO would be doing if he was home all day is playing xbox, ps3 & wanting to go all over the place. I'm glad he works 8-5 Monday through Friday. Its a lot of work for me to be the only one really taking care of DS but its better that me & SO get our space. He helps out a bit when he gets home though. I fought for weeks to get that done though lol just because he worked he thought he didn't have to do any baby care

It's like they have excuse after excuse as to why they can be lazy shits. My SO doesn't work at the moment. He does all the food shopping and cooking, because it's a hassle for me to do it with LO, and he does hold LO and stuff but he helps at the wrong times. Like, he'll hold Lucas for ages when he's sleeping, but when he screams for hours he just leaves me to deal with it :(

I'm sorry hon, Freya's doing that 'pulling away' thing too and omfg, my b**bs are hella sore and I don't even EBF! It does my head in when she's having a bottle as well because it's taking so loooong to feed her.. ugh.
But I know what you mean about men.. my husband is like, 'hurry up' when I ask him to take the baby for half an hour so I can do the 30 day shred and get a shower. I'm like seriously?! I could go on, but I'm at a risk of ranting too much

Mine literally follows me around the house with the baby. I'm like, "can you hold him while I get us ready for bed' and he'll walk around behind me, it's infuriating.
I don't know why it's so freaking hard to hold their kid for more than 5 minutes, I really don't. He's at his brothers atm but I told him I need a break later and he'll have to watch Lucas. He's been boobing for almost an hour now (Lucas, not SO :P) and I'm exhausted :(
I want my sleeping-through-the-night baby back!!
