Oh that's good to hear. All the recipes I looked at online said to brown the meat first so I was freaking out a little bit lol. Thanks!

the point of a slow cooker is to slowly COOK things..lol. If oyu had to cook it first, what the heck would be the point. lol Most recipes wiht meat call for it to cook 6-8 hours...if you put cooked beef in there that long you'd be eating leather.

Lol I'm a newb sorry. I just got this slow cooker for Christmas because there were a ton of things I wanted to try.

I jus stuck rock hard frozen chicken in the slow cooker this morning.. We cook frozen beef roasts too.. I LOVE my slow cooker.

I almost puked the one time i ate ground beef from a crock pot it was so soft. yuck. never again. it was chili too.

Thanks for everyone's help! Just got done eating it and it was delicious! Next time I'm going to make it a little more spicier. :)
