That is not true, plenty of women go into prostitution on their own will, it's an easy way for them to make money. Ever been to Vegas? They hand out cards.

Both are legal here. Prostitution in a registered brothel is legal, sreetwalking is not. Brothels provide a safe place for prostitutes and also have mandatory STD checks every month for their workers and a clean environment. And also, you can tax that shit.

Both should be legal

I think they should both be legal.

Prostitution is something I would never do but if a woman wants to I would rather her do it legally in a brothel where she is protected. Not on the streets just looking for a quick drug fix or because someone is making her do it.

I think it's stupid to lock women up for prostitution. If that's how they want to make their money, there SHOULD be places that offer that as a job. That do regular STD screenings, security in case of problems, and offer protection. (Condoms, birth control, etc)

I think it is kind of comparable. When abortion was illegal, there were tons of back alley abortions, sickness, deaths. But now that it's legal, and people have a SAFE way to get them...there are FAR less cases of people trying to do it themselves.

I think that prostitution would be the same way. Take away the pimps, and dangerous things, it will be a lot safer. Yes, there would probably still be incidents..but so are there with abortions.

You broaden the market which causes or a bigger demand. Please tell me how this would decrease trafficking.

I absolutely think both should be legal. A woman should be able to do whatever the hell she wants with her body...

I'm sorry but my aunt is practically a prostitute :/ She marries older men, uses them for what she wants, and then leaves them when she feels like she's gotten enough and is ready to move on to the next one. She's been doing it for years. Neither have false expectations... the guy knows she's using him and she knows it too... I think she's been married 7 times.. .maybe 8 now. She just got married again

Prostitution IS the oldest occupation in the world

PLEASE tell me how SO many people doing it willingly would create a demand for those who aren't. Go ahead. I'm waiting.

What you're saying makes NO sense.

Yes, they do. That doesnt make them the same thing. She didnt ask if human trafficing should be ok, she asked if prostitution should be legal. When refering to abortion she is talking about women willingly going in and terminating their pregnancys. Not a father forcing an abortion, or trying to make the woman lose the baby. Surely you see the difference.

Lol. Yeah it wouldn't, there would be brothels set up where there would be testing and they women would be employees like any other job. No one would go to women in the streets when they can have sex with a woman legally in a brothel, pimps would be put out of business!
