is it normal for my 3month old to choke and cough cause shes getting to much? or is something wrong? i try to pump before so theres not as much but it doesnt seem to matter

Yes, you probably just have a strong let down. They get used to it and your breast adjust.

I wouldnt pump before hand, there is a systematic way the breast milk comes out and every one is important to baby.



I would take her off every minute or so, give her a burp/break and go back at it.

if i take her off to burp or anything she flips and wont go back on for 30minsish

Try laying on your back when latching her. The force of gravity should slow your let down down a bit.

Totally normal. My 11 month old still chokes when she is nursing due to my overactive let down.

i've had to do that since she was born and she still chokes :(

:[ It should regulate eventually. I would stop pumping and it should help. It may take a week or two though.
