I'm not here to be judged about my bad smoking habit, I just wanted to know if there are any other pregnant women out their who have smoked throughout their entire pregnancy and had a healthy, full-term baby? It's harder than it looks to quit smoking, I feel guilty about smoking, I'm six months and I haven't had any problems.. yet. I'm just afraid of what might happen, Can I have your stories??

There are lots of babies that are born healthy to women who smoke. It's not recommended but I'm not going to give you a lecture on that. Have you tried cutting back?

I smoked. Not a ton. My kids are super smart. It's not a good idea but you aren't going to hell.

I'm not going to judge you I smoke. But I quit during pregnancy and breast feeding.
There is no reason why you can't quit now.
I know it's hard, you're looking for positive stories about pregnancy and smoking, but it does pass to your baby- that's the only story you should need.
Quitting sucks but you reay should.

Don't stress about that. Lots of women go over due with or without smoking.

I smoked and DD was fine but I still hate that I risked her health for it. I had cut down to like 2 a day when she was born, too.... Try the electronic ones! They're awesome

My mom smoked throughout her entire pregnancy with both of us and we have never had any problems. A few of my friends smoked throughout as well and their kids are also fine. I smoked up until 8 months and haven't had any issues, I eventually quit. It really wasn't that hard for me, what I did was I told myself when I bought a pack that it was going to be my last one, I just kept reminding myself and I made it last so that I could cut down ( I only smoked about 5 a day) and then when I had only like 2 left, I only smoked half and when I was done, that was it. I really only missed it for about a week and then I was over it and I'm so glad I quit.

Smoking reduces blood flow to the placenta and limits oxygen and nutrients that reach your baby.
It increases risk if premAture babies and problems during delivery.

You're 17, you should stop.

I had a friend who started smoking when she found out she was pregnant (like a pack a day+) to have a kid with a lower birth weight. That little fucker came out to be over 11 lbs. Lmfao.

But really, you could be doing worse things during pregnancy. I would try to cut down if not quit throughout but that's just me.

My mom was 2 weeks late with my brother and had me like an hour past her due date.

You could always just tell whoever is supplying your cigarettes to stop buying them for you. It's not like you can buy them yourself. *Shrugs*
