Quoting P.S I'm pregnant ♥1:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Shirley Maria:</b>" Are you a doctor?"</blockquote> ... [snip!] ... a doctor to know things, part of it is common sense.. but you're clearly ignorant and only hrowing up in time will change that."

I'm not in the least bit ignorant.. I listen to my doctor and what she has to say to me about it.. I try.

Quoting Shirley Maria:" That sucks.. but I'm sorry I'm not a heavy smoker. "

I never said she was a heavy smoker, either. All I said was that she smoked her entire pregnancy.

I never said you did, you called me a heavy smoker "You want to hear a truth? I have never smoked heavily, NEVER while pregnant, and all of my kids are perfectly healthy" I have never smoked heavily either so I don't know why you would put that.

I never called you a heavy smoker, either. I only said I wasn't ever a heavy smoker, and that I never smoked while pregnant. Your reading comprehension skills really need some work.

You listen to your doctor? Really???? "My doctor recommends I quit.. " Those are YOUR words. You're obviously NOT listening.

I smoked with all three of my pregnancies. My first was born at 41 weeks weighing 8lb 2oz, my second was born at 37 weeks due to GD weighing 11lbs 1oz and my third was born 1 day before my EDD weighing 10lbs 2.5oz and she is 4.5 months old. I don't support smoking while pregnant but the answer is yes it is possible to smoke during pregnancy and have a healthy full term baby.

I stopped smoking during my 1st tri. I started smoking again when the smell no longer made me gag. I carried my son to 41 weeks 1d. People will judge, but who gives a shit what they think i know i don't.

So you stopped smoking for your own personal benefit, but not for yoyr babies. I bet the smoke didn't make your fetus feel great after the first trimester was over SMH

You read it correctly. I have high anxiety and i continued to smoke to keep the stress at bay. My doctors also recommended to keep smoking 2-5 a day and not stop,my stress was through the roof during the 1st tri. Problem?? because you know if there is a problem good thing it's my body and my baby. :D

I have been a smoker for 6 years. I started smoking when I was 13. I got pregnant when i was 17, and I quit the first trimester. I cut back immediately and then stopped cold turkey about 11 weeks in. Cigarette withdrawal lasts about a week. It's not fucking heroin, and you probably haven't been smoking that long. Just tough out the week and you'll be fine. Problem solved. I'm not saying I'm a "teen mom" because I'm trying to prove something. I'm just saying that I went through a similar situation and it wasn't that bad. Put your big girl pants on and do it.
