Good to know, was hard to tell from the pic. Thanks!

That's awesome!! I like to see things the way they should be used.

I wish I could get a Diono! They are kinda big for my car and I have the longest belt stalks known to man kind so that won't work either. Even with 3 full twists and an AA.

Yeah they look pretty darn comfy. I keep telling DH I am getting Pey one. He thinks I am crazy car seat Mommy, lol. I told him tons of BG mama's approve the Diono. :) After doing my research I will probably just buy another one if we have another baby and Peyton's still using his because the infant car seat I lugged around forever was such a pain. I switched Peyton to a convertible car seat at 6 months even though I didn't really NEED to, I was sick of carrying him and the car seat around.

When I installed it in my eclipse it was pretty tall, and I had to put Leah in through the hatchback, lmao.

Belt stalks? Never heard this term. Straps?
Twists?
AA? No idea at all what this could be.

I use the latch for mine and have never needed to twist anything any time I've installed it, even using a seatbelt.

And if its too tall, they make an "angle adjuster" you can get for like $15 that helps it sit more upright so that it can fit in some smaller cars. I use one for DH's tiny ass corolla.

AA is angle adjuster.

Belt stalks are the buckles in your car. Different cars have different lengths and longer ones make it harder to get a tight install.
If it's a problem it is safe to twist the female end 3 full rotations to make it shorter and hopefully help with the install.

Ahh. My stalks (good to know the term for that) are short in mine. Didn't know you could twist them safely.

And AA makes sense, haha. Funny how I thought of "angle adjuster" and never out it together with "AA"---can I blame that on preggo brain?

My car is basically the next body of Eclipse except it's a chrysler sebring. It's made by Mitsubishi though. It doesn't have the hatchback. Right now, the front seat is all the way forward with a Britax Roundabout. I would make it work though if I didn't have the belt stalk problem. I'm getting a Honda Accord probably this summer though so that shouldn't be an issue.

A belt stalk is the female end of the seatbelt. Lol. You can twist that up to three times to install a car seat.

AA=Angle Adjuster

And my car is a 2001 and it's a 2 door so I don't have LATCH. :P

I'm not too bad, but its definitely not good!

My friends normally joke about me being the put-together, always-prepared-for-everything, Mary-Poppins, Suzie-Homemaker type mom. Lately I've gotten the "have you totally lost it?!?" look from friends more than a few times.

My DH is USMC. We abbreviate everything. But BF has made me much worse about it. The abbreviations from here are so much more useful to my daily life.

Between the two, just about every sentence I say could be abbreviated in some way.

No shit! That's how I feel! Then I cross the two so I start confusing people!
