I don't like that it is something I can't and couldn't control.

You know, I don't know if anyone else feels this way but when I hear people talking about taking diet pills, I just can't believe I wasted all that time on nothing. The time I tried diet pills, I could have been working out, eating healthy and be showing even more progress. Hard work truly is the only thing that can make you healthy, it is your own motivation and perseverance!

I totally agree. It agitates me actually. Whenever I see people and their "Shortcut" habits now I get kinda upset about it. Especially when it works for them, lol.

On a side note, you're food diary looks GREAT today. I'm super proud of you.

And another side note: Hitting play on p90x core synergistics. GO!!!

Ok, I didn't want to be the one that said that.lol I do feel that way., I have serious health issues and it was hard to start and I struggle but I do it. Most people honestly have no legitimate excuse. I get up at the buttcrack of dawn, get ready for work and the girls ready for school. Work 8-9hours,come home, cook dinner, play with the girls and give them a bath, put them to bed,go to workout, shower and go to bed. I don't have a whole lot of time during the week but it is necessary to do and I enjoy it now. And not being able to afford a gym...WORKOUT AT HOME!

Anyways, on a lighter note, lol Thanks, I am trying to incorporate plenty of fruits and vegetables and definitely protein.

And you go girl, you will rock it! How many weeks left? What is synergistics, btw?

Core is a bitch. It's only in the recovery week but its' twice. It's a lot of push ups, cardio, squats, lunges, etc. All about engaging the core. I have 5 1/2 weeks left. This week of recovery in phase 2. Next week starts phase 3. 4 regular weeks, then recovery week.
I seriously felt like puking through that work out.

I definitely improved and did a good job pushing to do more real push ups. They weren't all perfect form or deep as they should be, but I DID them :D Real: 10 stacked foot/ staggered hands, 6 sets prison cell, 4 sets walking (up, back), 4 reach high and under. Girl: 10 staggered hand/stacked foot, 8 sphinx, 4 reach high and under. So 46 total. That's an improvement of 13 total.742d23b7-5167-473b-b842-5b35890b2ee9wall

Awww. I love you and the feeling is mutual. Sons like you had a great day :)
I was bad and ended up doing insanity on rest day. But then took an actual rest day the day after because I was busy.

I think it is awesome you are doing two different programs, that has to help to not get bored. Today is my rest day, I'm always afraid I will take a rest day just because and then the next day I won't have time.lol

Well I'm not actually doing two different programs yet. We're not that crazy about yoga x and have it twice this week. So we did Insanity on the first yoga day. I'll probably do actual yoga on the 2nd one. After p90x though we'll be doing a Les Mills Pump/Insanity hybrid

I want to try Combat. You don't like YOGA, I always thought I would get bored, is this the case?

It's actually pretty hard. Partially why I'm not crazy about it. But, mainly it's because I like to do it alone and I don't get that opportunity often.
I'm trying combat this weekend while visiting friends
