My kids are SO tired. We have had a very busy day. I know DS had a good one because he got to talk to his daddy for a few minutes this morning. It is too late for them to take a nap, so I get to deal with grumpy kids :(

went to L&D tried to explain everything clearly- all they cared about was if i was having contractions (which i was-but they didn't check me because i wasn't there for that) the L&D nurse said (sounds like IBS) - i told her no, i have been with a GI specialist and he would of checked on that. i have EOE and history of ulcers, and was told to come to ER if i had black stool or vomiting blood.they transfered me to ER- which they ran bloodwork & urine sample said iron was low but not shockingly- and they said possible internal hemorrhoids but he can't be sure because ive had very loose stools... ICU nurse came and saw me and said hemorrhoids don;t make sense (because of not having constipation or anything to irritate it) but that is what they discharged me with.(i was too tired to argue any more) ER nurse said to come back if heavy bleeding continues or if i faint. UMMM GREAT =/ so basically i was there all day and got told nothing that i already didn't know. i will either be going back to the ER if it continues or i will be seeing my Primary to go back to a GI specialist (this week sometime).... which probably wont do much until i am free of the baby bean. lets just say i have pain in my back and stomach- im tired ...and nauseous...
they gave me tylonal and anti nauseous meds thats all....shoot me.

Ugh that's frustrating. :( sorry they weren't any help, hope you can get some answers with your primary or with the specialist.

I wish I could I could say that the diagnosis surprises me but without doing a scope I don't know if they could have given you more info. But I agree that an appointment with your GI is probably your best bet. I sure hope someone can give you some info soon!

yea i know i will need a scope again soon, probably after baby.i just hope the bleeding starts to subside. i can almost 100% guarantee its not internal hemorrhoids...

I've had absolutely wicked hemorrhoids before they were removed, like clustered and prolapsed kind, and I had never seen black blood during those 5 years of managing them. I'd be worried that the GI bleeding is worse than what can be seen on the outside. If you get dizzy with the nausea at all I wouldn't hesitate to get bs k in right away and not leave till they'd gotten a GI consult for you.

YES! The pain is so bad that it wakes me up in the night. Last night was horrible. I would wake myself up moaning from the pain. I swear it felt like my hips were separating or broken. On top of that I was having cramps and serious ligament pain in my lower pelvic area. I try to get up an walk to help with the pain and it is excruciating. I sympathize with you.

Gosh, I feel really bad for you :( Stupid ER. It never fails...They suck! As if you're not in enough worry and pain from the last stages of pregnancy, this put a new spin of worry on it all. I sure hope you're ok and that it's nothing serious! Praying you feel better!!
