Quoting Elena Gilbert:" mine was 160 at the dr. its normal.. all my kids were around 160. i have 2 boys and one girl. so i dont believe the heartbeat gender thing lol"

I think the heart rate is just an old tale, but several people have mentioned it. And ever since people tell me a lower rate is a boy I have a feeling this baby is a boy. Hopefully baby cooperates in a few weeks so I know! I have my 4th ultrasound on Monday, my first appointment with the high risk doctor. I'll be 12 weeks 6 days so to early to tell.

Josh gets his CF screening done in three hours.

I know we won't find out anything today, but it's still nerve wracking.

I didn't think it was able to be detected that early?? That would be awesome but I thought it was 16 weeks minimum.

The place I'm going to, it's 15 weeks minimum. I know the sex is visible at 12 weeks, but I wouldn't really trust anything from before 15, IMO.

Excuse me for venting but I'm so tired. And I'm just pissed off. My sons been up since right before 5. I got 5 hours of sleep. He'll lay in bed with me and I think he's gonna fall asleep and then he just jumps up like a jack in the box and gets into everything. I'm always exhausted. Because if he's not waking up super early, he wakes up in the middle of the night and takes almost an hour to go back to sleep. He's two years old. I should not have to be dealing with this. UGH. He used to sleep all through the night with no problems
But its been like 3 months of this crap now.

I'm not even close to being able to find out! I probably won't know until the end of May. Which feels forever away!
