yeah. I haven't been to the OB yet. Monday is my first appt, which is making me think they will do an ultrasound to see how far along I really am.

Well I guess I will be phone harassing them next week! I'm still nervous after a stillborn and 2 misscarriages, so I will be waiting on the results. I'm really feeling old this time, so freaking tired, stressed and fat. I'm glad your doing well, your pregnancy is a true blessing!

What did they say about your pains.\? I've had a few, but more of a pain where your leg joins your body?? When I move my leg sometimes it hurts!

It was a severe yeast infection ... thats it. Its just stomach/abdominal pains, not cramps, but sharp pains. Along with constipation, throwing up and headaches ... When I cough or sneeze too hard, I have pains in my stomach area ...

Yes, normally they have to do one at your first appointment ... so you will probably get one. Good Luck !!

Ok correction ladies ... My high risk doctor will see my on 05/30 for a detailed ultrasound and to check the baby and make sure the baby doesn't have any of the genetic issues that SO's family has ... my family is all in the clear for those kinds of things. So I will actually find out gender on 05/30 and then visit my regular doctor on 06/03 for the gender scan. It's still a long time from now. :(

We have a heartbeat! :D

She put the doppler on my abdomen and it took a LONG time to find anything, so I was starting to freak out. Josh got up from his seat and started holding me, my midwife even looked a little scared... but then we heard it. WUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUB :) Really fast, lol.

It kept trying to swim away, I guess I've got a shy little one lol. We kept losing the heartbeat and finding it again... eventually it got super irritated and ran away and we couldn't find the heartbeat anymore, lol.

So my "early" u/s to confirm dates isn't until may 9th, I'll be 16 weeks, lmao, so much for early! Will they be able to conclusively tell me gender at that time? Unless its a baby fibroid in which case it should be pretty gender less, lol
