For you ladies with hubbys in the Army, do you know where I'd find a leave form to fill out? DH is wanting to go to a friend's wedding in June and wants to put it in now, but we have no clue where to go

I have a random insurance question.....not sure if anyone can help.

I went in for my first appointment last week (11 weeks) and they did an ultrasound and initial exam, etc. I recently got married so I have new insurance - I gave them this info at the appointment. They scheduled a meeting for us with their billing department before our NEXT appointment mid May, and they said they won't be able to tell us anything about how much our insurance will cover until that meeting. Is this normal??? If our insurance doesn't cover this provider....I need to start looking for a new doctor that is covered by our insurance, and I think it's really strange that they won't give us this info until our second appt? I'm feeling stressed because I don't want to be 16 weeks and find out I need a new doctor.

I would call your new insurance provider and ask if they cover that provider.

i called my insurance to get a list of providers they covered (or your primary can give you a list of obs that is covered through your insurance normally) and then the insurance and that doctor will work things out (as far as if there is a co pay or not) its the insurance contract with the ob. at least that is what i am told- as of my last appointment we were still waiting to see how much my co pay would be or if i even had one! insurance companies can take a while and i think that's something they would want to talk in person about anyways (their contract they got from the insurance) don't worry too much! if anything call your insurance and speak to them first

Thanks.....I have had so many different insurance providers and they are all so confusing to me. It's probably one of those things that I make more complicated than it needs to be. Ha. I will try calling my insurance provider directly and see if they can help.

I know right. And I found out bc my SO was playing Xbox live with another
friend/cowork er and his friend goes I can't believe what you said to Sean about his girlfriend today. So I asked my SO and he told me. He seems to think I shouldn't even be upset? Are you kidding me! He sure keeps apoligizing tho.. he knows he's in the wrong and that's incredibly disrespectful to me. It's none of his damn business who his friends or co workers date.
