It doesn't look good. His kidneys are enlarged from the blockage in his ureter. They first are doing an amniocentesis/bladder release on Monday. Then in 2-3 days after that they will test his kidneys for function. If they are functioning still they will do something. If they are not they will induce me. I'm going to Texas children's hospital. I'm so scared. Keep my lil man in prayers and thoughts please

Hi Ladies! It's been a very, very long time since I posted.

So, I shall update what I can and hopefully be able to keep up with the Forum since I have more free time - and I am not throwing up or wanting to sleep my life away...
From week one to around week 15 I was pretty much throwing up 2-3 times a day. I kept a food log and wasn't able to figure out if it was a food concept I wasn't getting right - or perhaps I wasn't eating soon enough - taking my Herbs to late/soon... It didn't work. No matter how much I ate, how I broke it all up, when I took my Herbs - it either would sit good or came right back up. No pattern either when it occurred.
Had to have a nap every evening. Or else I would be worse than I was already... *Sigh*

Now, I am 21 weeks (Not 20 weeks like I thought) in and SO HAPPY!! I've never made it this far and to make it that much better I had my first and ONLY ultrasound for this babe.
It is measuring and weighing to scale of how far alone I am. Heart healthy and bones/organs looking good.
After three M/C this was music to my ears <3
It wouldn't stay still - so it took longer for the Tech to do her job.
Also - wouldn't allow us to find out the sex. My DH wasn't able to attend, and wasn't happy we couldn't find the sex out.
So I am booked for a 3D when he's home.

I will be trying to go over the pages of the ladies and get caught up :)
I hope everyone is doing good!!!

Hi ladies.....I don't post on here very often, but I am feeling pretty overwhelmed by my weight gain and I just wanted to see if anyone else is in the same boat?

I am 16 weeks now and due late October. I am 5'4" and usually around 125 lbs. I am 141 already!! My doctor said at my last appointment that she isn't too worried yet because she says it's common to gain a lot early on with women who have bad morning sickness (which I did - and I was constantly eating to cope with it, and most of my snacks where carbs since they were easy to digest). Well....that was 2 weeks ago, and now I have gained ANOTHER 3.5 lbs and since my appt I have been feeling better and exercising more and being really good about eating only healthy foods and lots of fruits/veggies.

I am just feeling totally overwhelmed because I gained so much and I continue to gain as of right now, even with a healthy diet and exercise. I am worried about my health and baby's health - not to mention being self conscious about my weight gain and trying to lose after baby is born. Has anyone else gained a lot early on?? I just feel so fat now and I know I'm not - but 17 lbs is a lot to gain in 4 months.:arrow::(

I am thinking and praying for both you and your son. Keep your faith, and hope for positive outcomes!

Quoting A, E & W's mommy:" There's plenty of time for it to move, it won't ruin your chances at all, in fact it's extremely unlikely ... [snip!] ... previa at this stage that run that risk and even they stand a 90% chance of it moving. Don't worry yourself too much :)"

Exactly! I had a complete previa with my second which migrated on its own. This pregnancy was diagnosed again with placenta previa, and my last ultrasound showed its now low lying, so it's already starting to move.

I'm 20.3 weeks and I've gained around 15 lbs. Honestly my diet and exercise habits haven't changed but it's like my body is holding onto every bit of water and fat I eat. But with breast feeding and a healthy diet and exercise I have no worries about loosing the baby weight. If that's what your body needs then that's what it needs. Can't fight it.

That's what it feels like! I swear that my metabolism is nonexistent right now - I can't believe how easy it is to gain weight and how hard it is just to keep it in check. I didn't expect this! I just want to be healthy.

Y'all are making me feel weird :(

I still haven't even gotten back up to my pre-pregnancy weight.. I haven't really thought too much about it til now, but... yeah, it doesn't really seem right. Should I be concerned? I dropped quite a bit in the beginning and I'm very, very slowly going back up. Feel like I should be packing it on by now...

I'm not back to mine either. My OB told me that as long as I gain in the 2nd half of pregnancy then its okay
