almost 15 month old will not sleep..... babygirl1026 Due November 13 (boy); 1 child; 2 angel babies; Tennessee 710 posts

I have a 14 month will be 15 months on the 26th and she for the life of me will not go to sleep at night or sleep all night. Most nights it's after 11 closer to 12 or 12:30, and then I have to make her go to sleep. She fights me with all she has. Once she finally goes to sleep she wakes up 3 to 5x a night. She doesn't get a bottle anymore so I give her a sippy cup of water because she is screaming for a "nank nank" as she calls it. She will wake up around 9:30 or 10. `1

Even if she gets up early, she still stays up late. Like saturday morning I got her up at 7:30 am and she took 2 naps that day about an hour a piece. Then saturday night it was still 11:30 before she went to sleep. She slept better as a newborn. She slept thru the night from 15 weeks to about 7 months then it was over with and she hasn't slept thru the night since then.

Has anybody else had this problem??? Does anybody have any advice. Please HELP! Thanks, one tired mama.

What time do you put her to bed? Try starting earlier and you may have to let her CIO!

What's her bed time routine and what time do you start it? Cut down on the naps, try to keep her up.

I usually start trying to get her to bed about 8. She gets a bath a cup of milk and then I try laying her down, then I try rocking her, then the crying starts she kicks she screams she fights me. I would try cio method but due to living circumstances right I don't have a crib as we are living with my parents. So she want stay in the bed.

If I keep her up when she wants to nap she is terrible. She throws tantrums. Want let me do anythings. She fights and screams. I don't know why she is like this at all.

Try an earlier bed time, maybe 7:30. You need to be firm with her. Don't let her fighting and screaming make you give in.

Well, I changed her routine last night. She ate dinner, then bath, cippy cup of milk. We went to our bedroom turned off the lights and sit in the rocking chair and rocked. She fought it a little, but was asleep by 8 pm. She still woke up between 3 to 5 times and wanted her water. She was up at 9:30 this morning. So lets see if tonight goes as good.
