Mine were roughly about the same length.
With the first I was 6 weeks early. I had a c-sec, from the time my waters broke till I got taken in I had fully dialated (about 2-3 hours of labour).
With my second I was 36 weeks I had a natural birth and labour was roughly about the same, I was 7cm dialated when I got to the hospital and went to a ten pretty quick I had my second about 30-40 minutes after getting to the hospital.

Quoting ♥Daenerys:" I pushed for two hours with my daughter too, it was exhausting. They had me start pushing at around 8cm, to 'practice' and told me to keep pushing with every contraction until she was born."

I was fully dilated but he was a) asinclintic (head was cockeyed) b) had a nuchal arm (hand by his face) and c) he was 10.5 lbs

I was definitely exhausted, at the moment it didn't feel like 2 hours but I was so sore for weeks..my whole body was sore. It sucked.

My first was born at 40w6d. 7hrs of labor, 4.5hrs of pushing.

My second was at 36w, 6hrs of labor 15mins pushing.

My third was induced at 38wks, 4hours labor 45-1hr of pushing.

All unmedicated, all op. my second was by far the easiest labor/ delivery/ recovery. He was also my smallest. 1st- 8lbs 21.5" 2nd- 6lbs 12oz 19.5" 3rd- 7lbs 15.2oz 19.5"

Oh wow that's crazy! My daughter was born sunny side up, and she came out all at once, there was no pause between her head and the rest of her lol. I also had the worst freaking back labor, it hurt like hell to lay flat, I wanted to sit, but they wouldn't let me sit and push lol.

First baby came at 36+2. Labor started out of nowhere and I delivered him only 1 hr 46 minutes later.

Second baby came at 36+3. Technically I was induced but I was alteady 5 cm and contracting every 2 minutes so basically in labor. They started my induction by breaking my water at 2:10 pm and she was delivered at 2:46!

My first came at 36 weeks, I went to the hospital about 9 am, and she was born at 8:48 pm, over an hour of pushing, I think, and I was exhausted, so the doc wanted to use the vacuum. I said no way, and pushed harder, and she was out.

My second was 35 weeks, I went in at 11pm, and he was born shortly after 10 the next morning. I pushed twice and he was out. The doc was scrambling to get his gown on, and I was trying not to push until he sat down.

My third was 37 1/2 weeks. I got to the hospital about 4(contractions started hard and fast at 3), and she was born at 9-something. I pushed for about 30 minutes, and was almost ready to give up, but my MIL(at the time) was not going to let me give up, she kept telling me I could do it. I don't think I would have been able to do it without her. She's even told me that even though I'm no longer married to her son, if I need her when I go into labor this summer, she'll be there.

My first was born at 40wd and my second at 38w2d. My labor with my second was shorter but I had pitocin because my water had broken. I only pushed for 1 1/2 minutes with my second.

Wow that's so wrong. Women should deliver in whatever position feels right for her body, not what's most convenient for the doctor. And "practice" pushing before you even had the urge? Were they trying to exhaust you so you wouldn't be able to push effectively when it was time?
Argh so much of how pregnant and birthing women are treated in North America makes me want to scream!
So glad it worked out for you in the end though.
My first labor was long, and I was stupid at the start and didn't go to sleep while I still could (too excited) so I was tired. In the end, I got an epidural even though it was not my plan, then we all took a nap for a couple of hours. He was out with half an hour of pushing. (34 hours later)
I'm so hoping this next one is shorter. But even if it's not, I know it'll be better.
