I wish there was some way you could take him to court & they could make him pay you back for at least some of that scholarship you missed out on :( Like make him pay for your college when you go back or spousal support or something.

He sounds like a real piece of work!

He really is. And now we are fighting over a lawn mower. For the love of santa, is this what my life is going to be? Fighting over lawn mowers and bed frames?!

Right?!! Seriously, I'd shit if you said his name was Dan. :P.

But that's exactly how he is/was. I couldn't have friends at the house when he wasn't there, because well that's just not fair at all, and f**k only knows what I was REALLY doing, like the milkman, paperboy, mailman, random strangers, oh my!

Yeah I know how that goes. Hopefully things smooth out for you. I went for the fast divorce too. I just wanted it done and over with.

And that's exactly where I am at. I wish I could just burn my marriage certificate and that made us legally divorced, because I would have done that on Thanksgiving..

How long did yours take?

Right! Well I left him in Florida and moved back to Illinois February 12, 2009. When he came back in May, I told him I wanted a divorce. Lots and lots of drama happened. And then I went in to file for child support. I *thought* I filed for divorce around the same time, but apparently I didn't do the correct paper work or something..lol. And then when I did go in they told me we had to be separated for at least a year (I think) before I could file it because we were doing the divorce the "simple" way. Anyway after everything, our divorce was finalized October, 2010.

That's not to bad then.

I've been told it'll be around 3-6 months for a no fault uncontested.. But by the looks how his attitude, it'll be contested. Seeing as how you wants it done in 6, maybe I should make it take longer..
