Quoting ThreeLittleBirds:" Caroline Elise."

I went to high school with a girl named Elise, I can't name my kid the same name as someone I know it makes me think of them all the time. Thats a cute name though.

you'll eventually meet someone with your kids name, and may not like them as a person. then what? change her name?

No but meeting someone with the same name isnt the same thing as naming your kid the same name as someone you know. Thanks though ;)

Are you pronouncing Carolyn and Caroline the same way? Or are you pronouncing Caroline (Carol-line)?

My ex's mother was Carol and we planned to use Carys as a way to honor her. (care-iss) - I like Caroline, beautiful name, my second fav is Eleanor, but I like that Caroline has meaning behind it, so that wins out. Caroline Rebecca is beautiful, IMO, though I think any of the choices would be a winner.

If I had to pick, probably Diane........ but that's just me. I am loving the name Elise lately.

Her first name was Nancy. I like adding Carol more than Nancy not that theres anything wrong with that name either though.
