I don't want to give up. I hate where I am.
I just am having a REALLY hard time shifting my focus off food for coping.

It is hard. I'm a boredom and depression eater. I have to really be strict on myself. Or find snacks that are healthy. Like make a smoothie. It occupies me for a few minutes and makes me feel better afterwards.

I need to do this too. Hubby brings in a lot of goodies. He doesn't get it. Don't get me wrong he's awesome. But his answer is "just use willpower". Um...ya wish it was that easy. He's also gone from 7am-5 or 6pm during the day working lol.

Yeah he really needs to support you. At first you need it all gone. Once you're out of the habit it can come back. I have a ton of junk food I haven't touched. But it's because I'm out of the habit already. SO is the one who struggles with the junk. I try to keep it out but he always buys it. He can't gonnna gas station without buying snackies. I do my best to support him but I can't shadow him 24/7. Then I get mad because he b***hes about wanting to lose weight but when I tell him he doesn't need something he does it anyway.

Bo does the same thing! I hate it!!! :?
I'm like...dude! YOU are supposed to be doing this with me to lose weight, and you're just eating what you want. NO. Not happening. He always wants me to fry his food and it's just....like...seriously!? Come on. It tastes just as good baked or grilled. lol Ugh.

So I met with a personal trainer, my gym offered two free ones. Anyways I'm going to give up my beloved wine:( after tracking everything I'm eating and my working out, I'm just going backwards drinking my calories. I know it sounds stupid but I really love wine lol

My eating habits this weekend so far have been good, mainly salads, and the hubby was like "You dont ALWAYS have to eat salad for every meal" because I had one for lunch and dinner Friday night, thenSaturday night for dinner, I just LOVE salad. lol. We just went grocery shopping and since Joey is really wanting to get in on it and help me too, we bought tons of veggies mainly fresh and yogurt and nuts and stuff for snacks. And smoothies.

Although we do have a super bowl party, Im going to try and bring my water bottle and limit how much I eat. Tomorrow Im back at INSANITY! I was at 177, and now Im 176...not much but at least Im headed in the right direction, I keep having to fight with myself about working out. =\

Would the occasional glass of wine be ok? I thought a glass of wine was supposed to be good for your body :? My gyno said it can actually lower your cholesterol  I was able to lose weight even when I was drinking a mixed drink occasionally.

You can do it. Don't get down about a bad day. Just pick it back up. SO is always irritating when he relapses on the health train because his mindset is "oh now I can eat what I want the rest of the day  when I mess up I try to make better choices the rest of the day. Sometimes i found I would lose more weight on my relapse days. I think it helps boost the metabolism a little by throwing it off. I weigh in daily because I don't get disappointed by weight gain. It actually motivates me to do better the next day. Most people say don't weigh yourself except once a week. But then I stress all week. When i do daily weigh ins it keeps me accountable in a way.
