My son is just about out growing his infant car seat. I went to go look at car seats yesterday and felt so overwhelmed. I want one thats safe (I know they all have to pass certain tests but I really want the best). I was curious as to whats the difference between the Graco my size vs the My ride by Graco as well. I am also thinking of the Brittax Boulevard...I could use some input! thanks :)
You will get more use out of mysize since headrest adjusts. ...I have both and like mysize...also called size4me70
We have a Britax Boulevard & a Parkway booster in Hubby's car. I have a Pavilion 70 g3 and Frontier 85 in my car...we also have a couple back-up Recaro's. I trade in my car far more often then car seats and Britax are a good fit & easy install in just about any car, so that's always one less worry. They're also very convenient to use day to day. DD2 ERF'd in a Boulevard till 33mo, DD3 is 18mo & will continue to ERF in her Britax convertibles.
I wouldn't say any one seat is the best, they all seem to have their pro's & con's...but I'm VERY happy with our Britax!
We've had BOTH from Graco...the My Size 70 as well as the My Ride 65. I love them both, but My Size 70 is still rear facing our 3yr old with a lot of room to grow!! He rode rear facing until about 2 in his My Ride 65. We're saving it for our second child.
I would say that the top seats are Britax Marathon or Chicco Nextfit. The Chicco is new on the market, but there is a lot of buzz about it and people are excited about it. The Britax is also a super seat. The Nextfit can be pre ordered on Amazon here and here is a great deal on the Britax Marathon. Here is an article on the Chicco Nextfit - personally I think its a dream chair. IT can fit into any car and has some amazing features. Worth checking it out! http://www.squidoo.com/chicco-nextfit-65-convertible-car-seat-review-and-price
