She has a point but she definitely did not need to voice it, especially at that moment.

I do believe everything happens for a reason but that reason wouldn't be because she is only 18. More likely because the embryo has a genetic problem. I believe it's natures way.

I have had 4 miscarriages.

I think they had a point. But the timing was horrible and it should never have been said aloud.

As horribly insensitive and stupid as it is to say to someone, yes I think there is a point to what was said. The idiot probably was trying to cheer her up. Poor thing. :(

Has a point, but it was very rude to say... shouldn't have been said most definitely.

I think she was wrong. No one says a baby at 18 screws your life up. I got pregnant at 18, my daughter was born when I was 19. It delayed some things, yes, but I don't feel that my life was in any way screwed up by it.

That is probably one of the most insensitive things someone can ever voice out. Especially while its happening. Disgusting.

No. Just because she's 18 doesnt mean she wouldnt be a wonderful mom. IMO I wouldnt be living life to the fullest if I didnt have kids. I never wanted to do anything besides have a family, and my son and DH and unborn son ARE my life. I am not missing out on anything.
Plus she was freaking miscarrying. That was the worst day of my life and I would have punched someone if they said that to me.

I see where the guest was coming from. But it wasn't the right way to go about it. And the tech should have shut her damn mouth. That's bitchy and completely unprofessional.

Im not even going to vote. The people who said it clearly thought they had a point and have every right to think it but when she is in distress like that it was clearly rude and uncalled for to say it. Poor girl. I somewhat agree that she has her whole life ahead of her but that is not the time to try and pep talk her like that. I mean, I gave a baby up for adoption at birth when i was 20 because I wasnt ready. Im now 27 and have a baby girl. Im so glad I did what i did and im ready now. I new i wasnt ready then but i didnt know how not ready i was then until i had my daughter. I wouldnt have mentally been able to do the things i do now back then.
