I was going to quit smoking, for the 15th time it seems since I started. I've quit in the past, and by no means was it easy.

I just went MORE then 12 hours ( closer to 17) and I gave in and bought a pack..

Jesus, why am I so f**king weak!? I was doing GREAT, and then the anxiety built up, and I said f**k it, and gave in..

I wish I never started smoking. :x.

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. :( Keep trying!

I quit like a year and a half ago and there's still days where smoking is all I can think about.

Seriously. I can literally quit any other addictive thing cold turkey... But tobacco. Shit. It's my 5 min break from reality

Hey you went 12 hours-gotta give yourslef some credit. Try again next week. I'm not even committing to quitting until my youngest starts school-not with the stress in my life, because I know I will fail.

The only reason I've quit in the past was because I was pregnant, or I just didn't have money to buy them.

I just HATE the anxiety that builds up in my chest when I know I'm out. It makes me feel panicked.

The longest I quit was I believe a year or 2... And there were WEEKS when shit got hard, where I was just like, omg I want a cigarette! Like NOI!

I've heard the craving for them never really fully goes away.

I understand. I quit a bunch of times... it's the mental withdrawals that really suck hardcore.

Have you tried the e-cig or anything? I hate 'em, but helped my best friend and her BF quit, and they both smoked waaaay more and for way longer than I did.

Well could it be a comfort that have that pack around but stay away. Just knowin they're there? Then you don't feel deprived but you aren't giving in? Idk if it work just a suggestion.

The only other addiction I've ever had was to a narcotic. And once I was out, I was out. And that was that. Yes, withdrawal sucked, but it was NOTHING like this.
