Quoting Meg ♥:" I have the graco nautilus and LOVE it, but recently saw this seat on BG. It's similar to the Nautilus, ... [snip!] ... weight limit is higher and the straps don't need to be rethread. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11685743"

Damn, I didn't realize these seats were so much, lol. I'll look into it, though. :)

It looked identical, but I wasn't sure if it was replacing the seat or not.

Quoting Andie.:" Most of the combo seats in that price range don't last long at all. They have a 40lb limit, and pretty ... [snip!] ... is the same weight limits and top slot height as the Nautilus called the Harmony Defender 360. It's around $100 at Walmart. "

The Harmony Defender is crap.

It's not a replacement. It's just different specs. It's a nicer version of the Nauti basically.

I'm not sure it is going to replace the Nautilus but I am pretty sure that is the new improved one. I know Graco has been improving a few of their seats lately

I haven't seen it in person yet, but it looks ok from what I've seen on my other forum. Why is it crap?

Yeah, true. I just wish my kids were going to be closer together in age, so I could re-use these seats.

It's just really cheap feeling and it doesn't feel sturdy at all.

Cosco Scenera. It was the only seat small enough to fit into my 2-door. The rest were too bulky.

That doesn't make it crap, IMO. Lots of seats are not sturdy feeling, they all have to pass the same testing and since they don't release testing results, there is nothing that says a more sturdy seat is safer/better.
