We had sex alot while pregnant also. I didn't breastfeed addison for any more than 2 weeks, mainly because I wasn't very educated on it. So this is my first time experiencing this!

I have an older son in PreK also. He is exhausting all on his own! We use to
co-sleep until baby was 3months old. I had to put him in his bed b/c mommy wasn't getting any sleep at all. Daddy is a wild and crazy sleep so baby had to be on my side fully away from daddy. I didn't rest well because I was holding him and always afraid he was going to fall off. We were nowhere near the edge but you never know.

you are lucky. I haven't had a full nights rest in over a year and a half! From being pregnant and then that baby getting me up.

I've been thinking of putting Asher in his crib. I don't know yet though. Addison was in her crib pretty much from day one. Maybe the breastfeeding has made me feel a different closeness with Asher. I am so aware that he's in the bed by me though. Mike is hard sleeper so Asher never co sleeps next to him.

I EBF for 13 months and had no sexual desires during that time. I would have to remind myself once a week to give my DH his special time, so he didn't get resentful. For me it was more about constantly having my DD hanging off me breastfeeding, and when she wasn't I had no desire to have my hubby invade my personal space for the little bit of time DD wasn't.

LMFAO at the lion comment!

I'm with you. Haven't had a sex drive since I gave birth to DS 19 mo ago. I took zoloft for PPD and that made it so I couldn't even get off, so that was f**king awful. Once I stopped that I could at least enjoy sex, but never wanted it. I still don't. I'm going to talk to my dr after my baby is born and see what kind of female libido enhancing options are out there.

I've never heard it but it makes a ton of sense. I'm 7 months PP and the only time I want sex is when I'm drunk. And considering DS is EBF that's not often lol.

Whatever, I'm still breastfeeding until DS is 1 year. DH can wait until June.

You can drink one, right after nursing. :)

I love me some vodka! But that requires a lot of pumping, a babysitter, and sleep the morning after. So needless to say that's not going to be an option for awhile lol.

I read an interesting article and it related to PP women not having sex drives, stating that the female body wants sex to have a baby, if she continues to have sex with a man and isnt getting pregnant the drive goes away sometimes because it thinks that the man isnt able to produce offspring so its "on to the next" it also said woman that are PP have more stress and its almost the bodies way of shutting down and telling your brain "im not ready for more babies". Im trying to find it. It makes sense!
