What's the difference between the two? Which helps tone the most?

In my experience, yoga is more relaxing/stretching meditation while pilates in a strengthening/toning workout.

Definitely. It's been a while since I've done either bc I'm lazy now, but I used to like pilates in the morning and yoga in the evening.

It's much more comfortable if you have a mat to do it on. Same with yoga lol

Also if you're gonna do pilates at home, I recommend getting a set that has resistance bands. You pretty much have to have them. I did pilates at the gym for a while, but not at home. I just found it kinda boring, and I don't like being on the floor lol
