I took my dreads out a few weeks ago, and now I want to dye my hair that deep blue from SPLAT. My question is...is it safe to use SPLAT while pregnant? Thanks all!

Thank you! That is the color I was looking at. Have you ever used this color before?

Thats what I was told aswell. I did a google search and it looks safe to use while pregnant, so I think when we run to Walmart this weekend I may grab a box. Would you mind sharing a picture of your hair when you dye it? I cannot wait to see how vibrant the blue is.

You're just not supposed to bleach.

ok im sitting here with the actual dye on my hair...

since your pregnant i suggest doing it with a window open... this stuff smells pretty bad. its kinda giving me a headache it smells so much.
thankfully i only have to sit with it on for 1-0-30 minutes.

and omg its staining everything... my mom got it on my neck and ears and so far its not coming off! lol. that and my hand from trying to rub it off with a washcloth.

Nice, hope the headache didn't get too bad! I'll probably take the laptop into the bathroom so I can have the vent on then. Thanks for the tips! Try some olive oil and a diaper wipe for the staining on your skin.

we were in a HUGE master bedroom that connects to a 2 sink wash area then goes to the bathroom. so it was really vented and still smelled bad.

while taking the shower it came off my skin..

it took forever to wash my hair since your supposed to wash until the water is clear. but so far i love it.. im still waiting for it to dry some before i take pics..

we let the dye sit for about 23 minutes. (10 min is supposed to last 3-4 weeks 30 min is 1-6 months. so we tried for in the middle)

I used it while pregnant. It seems less harsh than most of the hair dyes I've used. It stains but it DOES come off. I'm really sloppy so it gets all over me hah.

Thats cute! I like it, maybe just needed to use two bottles? I have quite long hair too, so I may grab 3 bottles. Your DS is so cute...how old is he?
DH and I gave our boys mohawks over the summer and they used that one wash dye. Koolaid and a small drop of water works well for kids hair too. My boys love it when they get it washed out because it colors the bubbles.
Thanks again for sharing the pictures! Convinced me to do mine this weekend :))
