LO is weaning himself from his paci. he use to only take it at night or in the carseat but this passed week he has fallin asleep with out it. he seems to only need it when he is over tired or somethings wrong. like last night he was constipated and couldnt sleep so he had it non stop but he hasnt used it once today. Should i take them away complelty or just let him do his thing. he will 5 months on the 6th. I would like to take it away but cant imagine him cio this young when hes ove tired.

I wouldn't push him to stop, because I wouldn't want him to be overly stressed about it or resort to his thumb- BUT I would keep it out of sight. Out of sight-out of mind. You know? If he is absolutely miserable and you can't soothe him otherwise, I would let him have it. I noticed my son is using his less and less as well, but since he's been sick he's been using it a bit more. I keep it out of sight until nap time/bed time.
