Apparently, I sang Yankee Dodle Dandy over and over again while having a colonoscopy

They said they would have video taped it but they didn't want me to be mad LOL

I would have LOVED to seen that!

The last thing I remember before being sedated was counting. Next thing I know, I'm in the car, being driven home. But I had to be sedated. My wisdom teeth were horizontal and they had to practically brake my jaw to get them out. I'd be more afraid of dry sockets! Do WHATEVER you have to to avoid that. I'd rather give birth again than have dry sockets!

I talked A LOT. And because of the swollen-ness sounded like I had speech or development issues. My mom said I talked so much it was obnoxious.

I had a horrible experience but I think I'm the minority. Even with meds the recovery was worse than my drug free birth with my 10.5 lb'er.
Not to mention they cracked my jaw on one side. Mine were impacted and horizontal. I wasn't myself for over a month. :(

They gave me a "feel good shot" lmao i don't know what it was but i started laughing at my mom because her face was all funky, then when they put me in the room i remember the nurses tucking my arms in and i was out, then when they were waking me up i tried to sit up before i was fully awake and the nurse told me to lay back down. I didn't say anything funny because i couldn't talk. I ate soup, mashed potatoes and ice cream for at least a week.

I wasn't either, even after making sure I cleaned them well I got a dry socket that didn't heal for 3 weeks. I still can't eat jello because I lived on it for 3 weeks

What Is Dry Socket?
The socket is the hole in the bone where the tooth has been removed. After a tooth is pulled, a blood clot forms in the socket to protect the bone and nerves underneath. Sometimes that clot can become dislodged or dissolve a couple of days after the extraction. That leaves the bone and nerve exposed to air, food, fluid, and anything else that enters the mouth. This can lead to infection and severe pain that can last for five or six days.

It sucks, from what I hear. Really painful

No straws
No smoking
no spitting
try not to sneeze oe cough

Nothing to dislodge the bloodclot where the tooth should be
