It is of either Hebrew or Hispanic meaning. Form of Ximenes. Meant to be pronounced hee-meyn-ah. Which makes me think of hymen ... So ew lol

It's a real name. Just never heard of anyone other than a Hispanic family naming their kid that.

I'm not sure on the pronunciation of it, but I do know it's a real name. I've heard of a few women naming their children that, after a demon in a book by either Laurell K Hamilton or Sherrilyn Kenyon, idr which one it was.

Ximena is the name of a girl I went to school with. She was from Peru and they pronounced her name Heh-men-ah.
