I kinda hope mine does... I think it'd be a funny experience haha. Mine was broken at the hospital but this time I'm holding out at home as long as possible.

I'm nervous about waiting too long though... I wish there was like a point you KNEW you had to get in 'cause youd' be pushing soon... I dunno... I'll talk to my doula about it.

I know, how embarrassing! Lol I'm just nervous about it all. I REALLY want to labor at home as long as possible. That's my biggest hope for this birth experience. If y water breaks I have a feeling ill be too anxious about infection or whatever and just end up going in :/ I want to be pretty far dialated when I actually go in. Then that would really help me wih my second hope, to not get an epidural. Cuz if I'm already pretty far dialated it'll be a lot easier

That's how I feel too. I only know to go in if your contractions are closer than 5 minutes apart.

well if your close enough to a hospital then wait till they are like 3-5 mins apart. If you live kinda far from one then maybe not. Mine were like 1.5 mins apart when i went in with my first daughter and we lived on a farm and the drive was 20 mins...it was terrible i was in so much pain.

I want to wait until I'm practically pushing her out to go in lol.

But we live like 10mins from the hospital, probably less. I plan to go without the epi if possible so the pain will happen at home or at the hospital.

Same here! Seems like we want the same birthing experience haha I also live 10 min or less from the hospital. I went to get there and have them be like ok you're ready to push!! Lol that's why I'm worried about my water breaking.

I'll probably be at work when my labor starts, so I'll just waddle down to L&D. :)

I heard you can buy the little test strips online to test if it's your water or not. So if you're super curious you can look into buying those. I heard Amazon has'em but I'm not sure.

i may have to look into that or just get my sil to go to her work and grab some for me. Cause i know ill do the same thing again. Even though water leaking is nothing like pee or anything else haha i should know the differance. Its just so exciting when it happens.

Haha well since you want the epi I don't see the issue going in when you think your water breaks... especially with as fast as your labors are.
