So funny, that's exactly what I was thinking about doing! Plus a picture of each of the boys since he delivered (will be delivering) them. I wante to give it at the hospital though, but obviously I wouldn't be able to get a picture of the new baby printed that quickly lol. So I can either just do a card with a gift card and give it to him at the hospital, or I can get the pictures after we get home and bring it to his office after a few days?

Yes or you could take the card with the pics and gift card to your one week check up and give it to him then :)

One week checkup? I don't think I had one. I think I only had a six week one with my son if I remember right! I could do it then too, but six weeks seems like a long time to wait lol

Emily: *hug* My friend is dealing with this right now. I couldn't imagine. You're a strong momma.

Stef: *tight hug*

Mommy: A gift card would be nice. I never thought about doing that... then again I don't like my Dr/s so... lol

I DEFINITELY need a gift for my doula though. She's doing it for free for me so... I'll have to figure out something for her.

I, personally, wouldn't single my doctor out. I plan on getting something for the entire office, like a cheese or veggie platter. Something like that. A card and a photo of baby are always nice, too. My OB's office is covered in new baby photos.

We're getting ready to make an offer on the house we want! I'm excited! It needs some work, so we're going to offer less than they're asking. I hope they accept! I'm ready for my own place!

I'm off tomorrow, too, but by the time I get home and crawl into bed it will be 9:30, then I'll sleep most of the day away.

My drs office has like 6 other doctors in it. And each dr has their own nurse. So that's why I would only do my dr and possibly his nurse lol

If I didn't like my dr I wouldn't either lol but he's been amazing so I'd like to show him some appreciation. That's awesome your doula is not charging you!! Lucky ;)

Yeah, my office has multiple OBs as well, but 'technically' they're not supposed to accept individual gifts. It can be considered bribery or favoritism. At least I know we're not allowed to accept individual gifts, so patients do something for the unit as a whole. Although one of my co-workers did receive flowers and a phone number from a patient, lol. Awkward.

So, I made a baby registry for myself. Is that cheesy? I'm not having a shower, but I want some place to save the baby items I'm interested in.
