I hate fish, the only fish i've ever tried that i kind of liked was Albacore and that's when i was a kid otherwise i just stick with fried shrimp and lots of cocktail sauce.

Quoting Jude ♥ JGL:" You should try it at a restaurant first. I like salmon, tilapia, basa, crab, shrimp, scallops and.fried calamari."

I think I might try tilapia. Who makes it really good?

I think the best suggestion is first try seafood salad, calamari rings, battered deep fryed fish then if you like them try shrimp.
Salmon is a over powering fish go with basa or a light fish, dew fish is nice and have it prepared in a restraunt try something you normaly wouldn't, I love creamy lemon pepper fish on a bed of wild brown rice YUMMO!

It is so delicious but will give you bad breath. Lol. I suggest it paired with their green beans!

Orange Ruffi (Roughi?) Is the only sea food I will eat.

The best way to cook it, is dip it in beer batter and fry it. It is so amazing! It doesn't have a fishy taste, or a fishy smell to it. I also heard Flounder is very similar.

I also don't like Tarter Sauce, so I use ketchup, which it tends to go together quite well.

Now I am craving it! haha!

I'd start junky. How about the new little fish bites at McDonalds? they dont taste like fish but you may be less fearful after having one. Or, some fried shrimp may ablso get you over your dear.
MILD fish like flounder or sole or tilapi or orange ruffi would be good.
Some have suggested salmon and i strongly suggest NOT avoiding it. Salmon is an oily fish that is often quite strong. I love fish but not fishy fish. I cant tolerate salmon as it is WAY too strong.
I have afriend who doenst like fish much. I was her "taster" for years and i never streared her wrong.

note- if you dont like seafood becasue of texture, shrimpis not for you.

I didn't even know McDonald's has fish. What about Long John Silver's, are they good? I like their chicken but I always get it to go.

Long John Silvers would also be a good intro to fish.
Mc Donalds has a "Fillet-o-fish" sandwich and the Fish McBites (i think that's the name). The second item is new and may not be available everywhere.
